About the artwork
For this painting, I used my previous work as inspiration and reinterpreted it to tell the story of Historia and Ymir.
As in the earlier painting, the birds symbolize their true selves and their fate within the series.But they can also be seen as Eren holding everyone’s fate in his hands. They reach for each other but are always held apart. The thin lines between them represent the ODM gear cables, showing how the world they live in keeps them separated.
In the background, the Paths tree can be seen. It represents fate, memories, and forces beyond their control. Even though Historia and Ymir choose each other, their future is shaped by circumstances they cannot escape.
This painting is about a love that is real and mutual, but never given the chance to fully exist.

• 7/8″ double-needle topstitched collar
• Twill-taped neck and shoulders for extra durability
